Independence Bed
The Patented Independence Bed features gracefully-proportioned side arms that promote unassisted transfers to maintain independence and muscle strength. The supportive bed arms can bear the full weight of the person getting in and out of bed, which helps reduce falls and physical strain on staff. The arms offer a clear line of sight when lying down.
The bed height can be manually adjusted to 20 or 24 inches, to ensure that it is the optimal height for the individual user. Independence Beds can be ordered for twin, XL twin, full, queen or king mattresses. Users can either purchase the custom-designed Furnished Living mattress to meet demanding comfort and support criteria, or they may supply their own mattress.
